On Friday January 18, 2018 at approximately 10:31pm,  Ptlm. Gilbert Lima stopped a silver Mercedes Sedan on Davis St. for stop sign violation.  The operator of the vehicle was identified as 31 year old Paul Prindiville of Warren, Rhode Island.  After a brief roadside investigation, which included field sobriety testing, Mr. Prindiville was placed under arrest for Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. After being placed in custody Mr. Prindiville was transported to the Rehoboth Police Department, where he was processed.  Mr. Prindiville was later released on personal recognizance.  Mr. Prindiville will be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Tuesday January 22, 2018 on the charges of OUI Alcohol, Negligent operation of a motor vehicle and the stop sign violation
