Rehoboth Police Investigate Fatal Crash :: Rehoboth Police Department

On June 25, 2016 at approximately 2:38pm The Rehoboth Police Department, Fire Department, and Ambulance were dispatched to Agricultural Ave in the area of Rocky Hill Rd for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a truck. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers found the operator of the motorcycle lying in the southbound lane of travel unresponsive and severely injured. Members of the Rehoboth Fire Department and Ambulance administered first aid but the operator was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the truck was transported to Sturdy Hospital by Seekonk Fire Rescue. The accident occurred when the victim, a 63 year old male from Seekonk Massachusetts was operating a 2015 Suzuki motorcycle north east on Agricultural Ave and was struck head on by a 1998 Dodge Ram Pick- up truck travelling southwest. The truck was operated by 40 year old Jeffery H. Fisk Jr of Jameson Dr. Rehoboth. As a result of the initial investigation, Fisk was placed under arrest. Once treated and released from the Hospital, Fisk was transported to the Rehoboth Police Department for processing. Fisk is being held on $100,040.00 dollar cash bail. Fisk will be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Monday June 27, 2016 on the charges of homicide by motor vehicle, and Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor. This incident remains under investigation by the Rehoboth Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit, The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, and the Massachusetts Medical Examiner
