On April 14, 2016 at approximately 3:07pm the Rehoboth Police Department responded to the area of 21 Cross St. for a report of shots fired. A female called E-911 on her cell phone and stated that another women had fired a shot gun at her and friend. The caller was able to identify the suspect and give us the suspects location as they fled to a nearby house for safety. A short time later, Rehoboth Police Officers arrived at 21 Cross St and arrested the suspect without further incident. The arrested suspect is 53 year old Deborah Armstrong of 21 Cross St Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Armstrong is currently being held at the Bristol County House of Corrections on $100,000.00 cash bail and will be arraigned in Taunton District Court on Friday April 15, 2016 on the following charges, 2 counts of Assault to murder, armed, 2 counts of Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon, 3 counts of possession of a fire arm without a license or FID card, 1 count of possession of ammunition without a license or FID card, and 1 count of Malicious Destruction of property. The case remains under investigation by the Rehoboth Police Department.
