On 02/28/17 at approximately 21:55 hours Rehoboth Police received a 911 call from 14 Steber Way reporting a disturbance with family members possibly involving a firearm. On arrival Officers spoke to several family members who had fled the residence. The victim’s stated Piotr B Lakota age 50 of this address had made threats to harm them with a gun. Responding officers secured the perimeter. Due to the fact there were numerous firearms in the residence SEMLEC the regional tactical ¬†swat team was activated. Taken into custody outside his residence a short time later was Piotr B Lakota. He is being charged with the following charges (1) 2 Counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Domestic, (2) Resisting Arrest, (3) Disorderly Conduct, and (4) Seven Counts of Improper Storage of a Firearm. Mr. Lakota will be arraigned at Taunton District Court on 03/01/17 at 8:30 am.
